Journal Scope

Economic Issues (Print ISSN 2816-8291, Online ISSN 2816-8305)  is a leading journal that aims to publish high-quality articles on economic theory, phenomena, and practice. Our journal is dedicated to fostering the development of economic research by publishing cutting-edge studies that address a wide range of topics.

We welcome contributions on theoretical and empirical research related to various fields, including, but not limited to:

  • Studies of macro and microeconomics, such as unemployment, inflation, economic growth, and productivity.
  • Research on fiscal and monetary policy, regional and rural development, urban economies, and the impact of globalization on economic systems.
  • Investigations into economic phenomena and problems, including the role of institutions and governance in the fields of finance, market, resources, environment, industry, science, technology, medicine, health, education, and crime.
  • Exploration of the intersection between economics and society, including the impact of economic systems on inequality, poverty, and social welfare.

Our journal strives to be a leading platform for scholars, policymakers, and practitioners to exchange ideas and advance the understanding of economic systems. We welcome original research articles, review articles, and commentary pieces that provide novel insights into economic issues.

Article Processing Charges (APCs)

To ensure efficient submission processing and high-quality online publishing, our open access journal has implemented an "author-pays" policy. This means that authors are responsible for covering the cost of publication, rather than readers having to pay for access.

Upon acceptance of an article, an article processing charge (APC) of US$399 will be applied. This fee helps cover the costs associated with reviewing, editing, typesetting, and hosting the article on our platform.

To make publishing more accessible, we offer special discounts of up to 25% off for students and authors from low-income countries. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to share their research with the world, regardless of financial constraints.
