Review process

Sci-Hall adopts double-blind peer review. We aim to provide high-quality and fast publishing. The processing cycle of submitted manuscripts is generally 6-8 weeks.

All submitted papers will be reviewed by the executive editor based on the matching degree of the topic and the core content. If the preliminary review is passed, the editor-in-chief nominates reviewers, and then the assistant editor assigns the manuscript to the reviewers.

The reviewers' evaluations of the manuscript include four categories: acceptance as is, minor revision (conditional acceptance), major revision (conditional acceptance), and rejection. 

The first round of review generally takes 10-14 days. The assistant editor then emails the review report to the author. The author needs to re-submit the revised manuscript according to the review report, if the review result is conditional acceptance with minor or major revision.

If the result of the review is to accept the manuscript as is or reject it, the review is generally one round. If the result of the review is conditional acceptance with minor or major revisions, the review will generally be two to three rounds. The review of major revised manuscripts generally takes 7-10 days while that of minor revised ones usually takes 3-5 days.

After the manuscript is revised, the editorial department will organize proofreading, and then email the author to the final .pdf version. This process generally takes 3-5 days.

Once the final manuscript is confirmed by the author, it is submitted for publication. Electronic publishing generally takes 3-5 days.

The period from manuscript submission to online preprint is generally about 6-8 weeks.

Currently, the publisher does not provide paper copies of journals. 

For authors who need paper copies, the publisher can email the electronic version to the authors for printing. This is based on a written request from the authors.  

The open access journal adopts a "author-pays" policy to maintain efficient submission processing and high-quality online publishing. An article processing fee will be charged for each accepted article. The authors or funding agencies are responsible for payment. 

Please note that the authors should pay the full amount. This means that any administrative fees paid for the transaction should apply to authors, not the journal publisher.  

The publications will be indexed in Google Scholar,  DOI, CROSSREF, DOAJ, CORE, OAJI, PAPERITY.

Sci-Hall operates open access journals covering the fields of Economics and Policies, Management Science, Education and Sociology, Resources and Ecology, Sciences and Technology. All journals are fully peer-reviewed and adopt a rapid review and publishing process. We are committed to providing high-quality academic articles and books that are freely available to the public.

Sci-Hall Press continues to invite scholars in related fields who are committed to contributing to scientific knowledge to join the editorial board. Through cooperation with the other members, the editor contributes to the sustainable development of the overall breadth and depth of the journal's content.

Being a member of the journal editorial board is a voluntary job. However, by joining the editorial board of Sci-Hall open access journals, you and your team will benefit from the academic social network of the Sci-Hall publishing platform. You can also publish academic announcements for free on the Sci-Hall website. Contributions to Sci-Hall publications will also earn you corresponding academic experience and reputation. 

The initial term for a journal editorial board member is TWO years. During the term, the main responsibility of editors is to 

• Invite more peers to join, 

• Review submissions in a timely manner, 

• Implement and apply the editorial policy of the journal, 

• Propose special issue on a topic related to their research interests, 

• Promote the journal(s) at peers or conferences and share call for papers, 

• Provide feedback on journal policies and advice for journal development strategy.  

• Editors are expected to recommend submissions (articles or books proposals) to Sci-Hall. 

• Editors are also encouraged to submit papers and book proposals/manuscripts to Sci-Hall. All submissions will be processed under double-blind peer review.

A Digital Object Identifier (DOI) will be assigned to an article published in Sci-hall. All articles published on Sci-Hall journals will be submitted to Google Scholars (H Citation), CrossRef, DOAJ, CORE, PAPERITY indexes.

Please select an appropriate journal for submission. 

Sci-Hall also invites book proposals or manuscripts submission. Books will be processed under double-blind peer review and will be open access. A Digital Object Identifier (DOI) will be assigned to an article published in Sci-hall. All articles published on Sci-Hall journals will be submitted to Google Scholars (H Citation), CrossRef, DOAB, and more open indexes.

Various types of book proposals/manuscripts are acceptable, including but not limited to monograph, edited book, conference proceedings, thesis/dissertation, research proposal, research report, reference book, text book and literate book.
