Applied Remote Sensing and GIS (ISSN Pending) is a fully peer-reviewed open access journal, published quarterly by Sci-Hall Press. This journal accepts various types of submissions of original research articles, review articles, case studies, communications, discussions, letters, etc. The submitted content should be original, and must not be submitted or published in other journals, books, or conference proceedings.

The journal of Applied Remote Sensing and GIS publishes research on the application of remote sensing and geographic information system in the fields of earth science, resource and environmental science, agriculture, forestry, geology, hydrology, urban and regional development, ocean, meteorology, surveying and mapping, social space, economic development, etc. This journal welcomes research on different spatial scales such as global, regional, and local. It provides a communication platform for using remote sensing and geographic information technology to describe human's understanding of the real world and natural phenomena.

The open access journal adopts a "author-pays" policy to maintain efficient submission processing and high-quality online publishing.   

Before Nov 30th, 2022, only US$100 will be charged for each accepted paper.

Before Dec. 15th of 2023, only US$300 for the APCs.

Original APCs, US$400.

Authors are encouraged to prepare manuscripts using the template, though format-free initial submissions are acceptable.
